PROTECTIVE ZONES OF WATER SOURCES, WATER ACT No. 364/2004 Coll. (WATER ACT)
§ 32: protective zones of water sources are defined in § 32 of the Water Act.
§ 49: defines the rights of the watercourse administrator. It authorizes them, for example, in the case of a significant watercourse and where necessary in connection with the management of watercourses , to enter third-party land (so-called riparian land). This paragraph specifies the widths measured from the shoreline. Riparian land should remain free and undeveloped to allow unhindered access for management activities, flood protection works, maintenance, and similar purposes.
§ 50: deals with the obligations of owners of riparian land.
