When preparing land for a mobile home, it is necessary to ensure the utility outlets (electricity, water, sewage) come out of the ground in the correct location under the mobile home. However, this is very simple: for the Super Arktik ® mobile home, we will provide you with a technical drawing showing the utility outlet points. Once you know where your mobile home will be placed, bringing the utilities to the right spot on the plot is straightforward.

How to properly stabilize the ground under a mobile home for long-term stability

Stabilizing the ground is a key step in preparing the base for placing a mobile home. The mobile home is set on specially reinforced points on the chassis structure, which are then placed on concrete blocks. To ensure lasting stability of the mobile home, we recommend creating ground footings under the concrete blocks down to a frost-free depth of 80 to 100 cm.

A concrete slab under the entire footprint of the mobile home is not necessary, because mobile homes remain stable even when placed on concrete blocks at 8 points (Super Arktik mobile homes) or 10 points (Super Arktik Family mobile homes).

To reinforce the plot, it is also suitable to use non-woven geotextile fabric, then spread crushed stone or gravel on top, and compact the base with a vibrating plate compactor. This procedure not only strengthens the ground, but also prevents grass from growing under the mobile home and ensures a neat, aesthetic appearance of the plot.

In cases where the customer requests a registration number, project documentation is prepared in accordance with the valid zoning plan of the locality, and the competent building authority decides on the specific placement.
